When it comes to selecting the right rug size, here are some tips to help you out. For a small space where you prefer to keep furniture legs off the rug, a 5x8 size is recommended as the perfect center. Leave 18 to 24 inches of exposed floor around the perimeter. An 8x10 rug is ideal for filling the visual space of a seating area, with furniture front legs placed around the edges. Again, leave 18 to 24 inches of exposed floor. A 9x12 rug will fill most rooms with all furniture placed directly on top to create an intimate space. Remember to leave 18 to 24 inches of exposed floor around the perimeter.

These creases typically flatten within 3-5 days in warm weather or 5-7 days in cooler seasons. To speed up the process, you can roll the rug pattern side up and massage the creases with your hands. Additionally, laying the rug out in a sunny room can help loosen the backing.

Polypropylene rugs are easy to clean. In case of spills, blot the stain with a clean cloth dampened with lukewarm water. Avoid rubbing the stain as it may push it deeper into the fiber.
